Extended Learning Centers (ELC)

• Before School hours are from 7:00 am until the school day begins and After School hours are from the time school ends until 6:00 pm. 
• A non-refundable registration fee of $25 must be paid upon entrance to the program. A portion of this fee is used to purchase required insurance for each student. Payment is to be made by;
  • a check or money order made payable to Lake County Schools;  OR
  • an electronic payment using the "ELC Registration" option from your MySchoolBucks account. 
• A separate payment should accompany the registration form to cover first week’s fees. An electronic payment may be submitted using the "Extended Learning Care Program" option from your MySchoolBucks account.

• $51 After School
• $29 Before School

During non-school days when ELC is open (teacher workdays), parents wishing to take advantage of full days must pay the before and after school weekly rate for the utilized week.

Enrollment is limited and spaces will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. The registration process is not complete until registration and the first week’s tuition is paid. All past-due balances and Non-Sufficient Funds checks must be paid prior to registration.

Discounts for eligible assistance programs, including specific district summer learning programs, are available. Parents of NEW students must provide proof of eligibility prior to receiving a discount. Reduced rates will continue to apply for students who attended ELC during the 2023-2024 school year.  

• Discounts are also available for families with 3 or more students on the same account and attending from the same household.  
• Additional financial assistance may be available.

Parents will be emailed with the status as to whether the children have a slot or have been put on a waiting list.
