Welcome to Sawgrass Bay Elementary School! My name is Gary Locuson, and I am proud to serve as the Principal of this incredible school. Since our opening, we have been dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students. Located in the vibrant community of South Clermont, Florida, we are more than just a school; we are a community school, committed to serving our families and neighbors.

I am thrilled to share that we have earned a "B" grade from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), a testament to our hard work and dedication to academic excellence. As a lighthouse school with the "Leader in Me" program, we focus on empowering our students to become leaders, not just in the classroom, but in life.
