☀️One Book, One Bobcat Family: Join Our Summer Reading Adventure! ☀️

Hello Bobcat Families!

This summer, every Bobcat is invited to turn the pages of the same story as we come together for our One Book, One Bobcat Family Summer Reading Challenge. As we all read The Tale of Despereaux, we'll share in the same exciting journey of courage, friendship, and hope—creating a school-wide reading experience that connects us all.
Students who complete the challenge will earn a movie ticket to our school-wide watch party in September! 🍿🎬

Here's how to participate:

Grades K–2: Enjoy the book together as a family read-aloud.
Grades 3–5: Students will read the book independently.
Complete the Story Map (attached below) and return it to your teacher at school by August 21st.

Need a copy of the book? Stop by your local Lake County Public Library to borrow one!
We hope you'll make reading together part of your summer fun. Thank you for helping us create a community of readers where every Bobcat shares the same adventure. We can't wait to celebrate everyone's reading success at our movie watch party in September!

The National School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest is now open for submissions! This year's theme is "Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes." We encourage students to think about what safety means to them and how they view bus drivers and community members as everyday heroes who help ensure they get to school safely.
